As the Dean, I am honored to lead this esteemed institution dedicated to excellence in medical education, research, and patient care. Our mission is to cultivate compassionate healthcare professionals equipped with the knowledge and skills to serve society effectively.
I bring over four decades of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, having previously served as a professor, head of the department and also as Dean at Government Medical College and Hospital, Chhatrapati Sambhajinager (Aurangabad). My academic journey includes numerous research publications and active participation in national and international conferences, reflecting a commitment to advancing women's healthcare.
At CSMSS, we strive to provide a holistic medical education that integrates rigorous academic training with ethical and empathetic patient care. Our state-of-the-art facilities, experienced faculty, and comprehensive curriculum are designed to foster innovation, critical thinking, and lifelong learning among our students.

- • Dean of Government Medical College from 2016 to 30 Sep 2021 (5 years).
- • Nominated and shortlisted for the post of Vice-Chancellor, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nasik - 2016.
- Chancellors’ nominee, Management Council Member, MUHS (2007-2012).
- • Chairperson, Clinical Research Committee, FOGSI (2004-2008).
- • Vice President, FOGSI – Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecological Societies of India (2007).
- • Elected as President, AMOGS – Association of Maharashtra Obstetrics and Gynecological Societies (2016-2018).
- • Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, awarded Stri Award in 2022.

- • Established the first High Dependency Unit (HDU) in Maharashtra, awarded the Safe Motherhood Award by the Government of Maharashtra on 10th July 2014 (World Population Day).
- • Covid Warrior (2020-2021): Managed 15,000 Covid patients with 150 ICU beds, 850 oxygen beds, 500 Covid-positive normal deliveries, and 100 cesarean sections.
- • Recognized in the Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book of World Records.
- • Lords of Planet Award for extraordinary services for human race and women's health, conferred at the House of Lords, London, on 3rd June 2019.
